Prompt Templates

Copy-paste these into Claude to get a working sim on the first try. Swap the bracketed values for your content.

Each template is designed to give Claude enough context to make strong design decisions on its own. The more specific you are with the bracketed fields, the better the output.

Dashboard
Create a live dashboard sim showing [metric 1], [metric 2],
and [metric 3]. Use a dark background with clear typography.
Design it for a 16:9 monitor. Assign it to my device
named [device name].
Menu Board
Build a digital menu sim for [business name]. Include sections
for [category 1] and [category 2]. Style it clean and readable
from 3 metres away. Make the featured item [item name]
visually prominent.
Rotating Announcements
Create a rotating announcement sim with [n] slides.
Content: [slide 1], [slide 2], [slide 3].
Auto-advance every 8 seconds. Brand color: [hex code].
Report / Brief
Turn this data into a shareable sim report: [paste your data].
Make it professional, readable, and easy to navigate.
Use a light theme. I'll be sharing the URL with stakeholders.
Event Countdown
Build a countdown sim for [event name] happening on [date].
Show days, hours, and minutes remaining. Style it energetic —
this will go on a screen in our office.
Team Status Board
Create a team status sim with columns for [team member 1],
[team member 2], [team member 3]. Each column shows their current
task and availability status. Dark theme, always visible
on our team TV.
Tip

You can chain prompts. Create a sim first, then follow up with "update it to add [X]" or "assign it to my device named [Y]" — Claude holds context across the conversation.
